EEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

I was just looking at other people's sites, you know, looking at your profile and jumping to people who have certain key phrases in common with you, and I came upon a site that seemed normal, until I clicked on a link from there about music this person liked. YIKES! Whoa- porn! Actually I'm not sure if it qualified as porn or just as disgusting pictures of a graphic nature, and I sure as Heck am not going back to find out! Ugh, I'm not sure that I'll ever get that image out of my brain . . . I wish I could do a system restore to my brain! Quick, revert to a time of about 15 minutes ago!

I love all of my Blogging Buddies, but sometimes the internet isn't all sweetness and light, ya know?

12 are still reading for some reason . . .:

I so agree with you. Every now and then I come across something (like that God Hates... video) and I want to cry. Or I read something so disgusting it makes me want to take a hot bath. The only way to get that image out of your head is to find some nice pictures or videos to replace it.

BTW remember when I asked you if it's okay to use your real name rather than "A"? Is it okay? Or do you like to keep it anonymous which is completely understandable.

Babzy- you can call me anything you want to! Well almost anything, just don't call me late for dinner! :) (thanks grandma, I knew that would come in handy some day!)

An initial is hard, because it is soooo impersonal and gender neutral. I'm fine with Amanda. I even leave it on blogs sometimes, just so women don't get creaped out- is that a man leaving that comment, or a woman? I just couldn't get any more creative when I made this up. I lived with roommates for so long, and I always just signed notes "A"- creative, huh? It all stems from laziness, I'm sure!

Have a good night!

oooh how horrid for you. It's ghastly isn't it. I stumbled across something when I was searching for something at work and I couldn't concentrate for ages as I had the image impaled in my brain.
I worry that we as adults find it disturbing so what is happening to a whole generation of young impressionable minds......

Hey girly...Yah..did that at work once...I work at a school...for those who don't know, and well, that site wasn't blocked and AHHHHH. OFF OFF OFF. I had to call the board office and let them know it was an accident. SOOOO embarassing!!

Icky - I know. Sometimes that warm, fuzzy, happy and contented feeling dissolves into yuck. Sorry you had to see/hear that!

Elise: me too, me too.

Yeah, my pastor talks about how much damage that stuff can do to your mind, and I agree. If you are a man indulging in that, how could your relationships ever be normal? When it's burned into your brain, it's scarring.

I am sorry that your 30. birthday was
spent in hospital :(. Really. As you suggested to compare ( but still don't know why, i usually do not compare people, things, my life with others ), yes, it was grate birthday. My friends came over, we had such a funny time, my husband served us drinks and meal... and you know what? Your comment made me pray for you!
God bless you, thanks for stepping by. Any time you want, you are welcome to come!
Love
Beba

Be careful what you click on!

Hi Amanda. Please be very careful clicking on links that strangers put on their web sites. You could have opened yourself up to a virus (for your machine, not you) or a tracker. The social sites, so I'm told, are the worst for this kind of thing.
Yhanks for visiting my site. All the links there are safe and won't do that kind of thing to you.

WHAT??? Porn on the Internet? Really? I would never have guessed.

It's almost impossible to avoid it, actually.
